B&M SuperCooler is designed for optimal cooling, exceeding the performance of ordinary 'fin and tube' coolers. Its lightweight aluminum alloy construction with fluxless, oven brazed components allows for improved vibration resistance. A revolutionary 'stacked plate' design with multiple oil flow paths is implemented to help maintain lube system reliability. For increased efficiency, a self-regulating orifice is used to monitor ATF resistance to flow and direct thicker ATF back to lube through two bypass openings in the core, while thinner ATF is directed through the core as needed for cooling. This helps keep the ATF and transmission cooler to ensure dependability, particularly with performance applications.
